Not only did we have a great session over at Pudsey Judo Club but John also took Sarah & Kostas scuba diving thanks to Divers Warehouse Ltd.  And as is traditional when Sarah is around we also had a few beers out and about along with karaoke at the Westleigh.

Dinner
2015 Christmas meal at Nando'sThis year we had a vote where to have the Christmas dinner, two members suggested different places and with two Facebook likes each we had a standoff... what to do... The coach came up with a solution, a fight off on the tatami. Well one contributer was ill, but turned up for the fight-off he won by Fusen Gachi (look it up), therefore Team Bradford Judo Club had an enjoyable Christmas meal at Nando's for the 2nd year running.  Great to see so many members of the club there and looking forward to the club being even stronger next year.

Bradford University Judo Freshers Fayre stand 2014Team Bradford Judo club had a fantastic and thriving stall full of information on Judo, the club, and of course, sweets (which the coach eat most of).

As well as the stall, this year we also provided demonstrations which attracted crowds, and a big bear who also gave Judo a go.

In the end we got a lot of recruits and hopefully will see lots of new faces over the next few weeks at our regular Team Bradford Judo club training sessions.

We had an amazing time, saw some great Judo, great techniques and meet up with main friends from other Judo Clubs.

December 6th Christmas Party Christmas dinner at NandosWhat a great night we had at Judo Team Bradford Christmas Party. It started out with a special guest at the Judo session where we had a gym PT instructor come in to help out with our "cardio" and a few arm exercises in order to assist with 10 pin bowling that followed, a devious plan by the coach that completely backfired.

It was a close run contest in the bowling (where the coaches arms could hardly move), but Yannis managed to bet Chang with the very last bowl of the night, strike!!. To finish the evening off we ended with a fantastic meal in Nando's.

Nickname of the tournament & probably the year has to go to Lisa the "Sniper", but you will have to ask her why!!
